February: Valentine's Day and Carnival
Every moment is good for celebrating love, but there is no better than Valentine's Day. In 2017, February 14 falls on Tuesday, so you can organize a romantic dinner for your partner in our Asador O 'Pazo. Remember that tuesday Carnival day is celebrated on February 28, and in Padrón the real carnival atmosphere is lived with the celebration of Piñata: Saturday, March 4.
April: Easter comes!
In 2017 Easter is in mid-April, when we celebrate in Padron our great feast: Easter. Holidays will be on the 13th and 14th, and the party will continue throughout this weekend and until Tuesday 18. May: International Day of Workers and Day of Galician Letters
May 1st celebrates the International Workers' Day, the perfect moment to organize a short break that will allow us to disconnect from the hard days of office. This year falls on Monday, so we can enjoy a long weekend without consuming vacation days.
In Galicia, in addition, we have the holiday of May 17, Día das Letras Galegas. In 2017 it will be a Wednesday, so we can organize a family meal at Asador O 'Pazo or play with the holidays to add two more days to our rest until Sunday.
Summer!
If you are one of those who have to work all summer, don't worry because in July and August there are also holidays so you can rest. On July 25th, on a Tuesday, the Day of the Apostle is celebrated (and the feast of Santiaguiño de Padrón); and on August 15, also Tuesday, the Day of Santa Maria.
October: Hispanidad Day
Thursday, October 12 is celebrated the Hispanidad Day, so we can enjoy a long getaway of 4 days. October is also the perfect month to know the most unknown part of the gastronomy of our area enjoying a good autumnal menu.
November: All Saints Day
November 1st, All Saints Day, it will be a Wednesday in 2017. A good time to dare with one of the many hiking trails that are in the county.
December: Constitution and Immaculate Day
As usual, the longest bridge of the year will be celebrated in December with the days of the Constitution and the Immaculate. This year will be held on Wednesday 6 and Friday 8, so we have some fantastic days to rest and start doing Christmas shopping. December 25th, Christmas Day, will also fall on Monday.
