Pontevedra has a very beautiful historic city centre that is unknown to the majority. We recommend strolling around its narrows streets and pavement cafés in its squares. Rent an audio-guide in the municipal tourist office, if you want to learn more about what you see.
Not a lot to see except strolling along its promenade, visiting the yacht club, its shops and enjoyed the inappropriately called Galician Marbella. Portonovo is famous for its ray “caldeirada” dish.
The sea breeze and waves of A Lanzada beach: tour the isthmus of A Lanzada. Explore one of Galicia’s most emblematic beaches along its wooden walkway. An enormous car park where you can leave your car.
A very pleasant trip around the isle of La Toja. There are countless options for sailing around the “ria” (estuary) in a catamaran, featuring tasting of mussels and Albariño wine.
