Without having had time to just finish the turron and open gifts, he has played us bid farewell to Christmas and start a new year uncertain and full of unknowns, but also full of opportunities, parties and celebrations. And is that they are beginning to count the days for the next big party of this 2016, carnivals. As January progresses, White Christmas snow is melting and leaves bare the wide variety of colors that are stained the costumes of the more rowdy party of the year.
Wizards, pirates, superheroes, animals... All kinds of creatures, characters and things invade cities starring big parades where the only rules are fun and have fun. There are many who are willing to wear the costume during that week, or simply those who want to remove the costume that take place during the remainder of the year and be themselves without complexes. You are as you are, the most important thing is change of role and draw the attention as much as possible without being recognized.
In the Galician Entroido, no large floats as in Rio's Carnival, but don't have anything to envy to the Peliqueiros from Laza, the Cigarróns from Verín, the Pantallas from Xinzo, the Boteiros of Viana do Bolo, etc.
The tradition stands in each city its own picturesque star of the Carnival, which sometimes can also be edible, as not all are costumes for these dates. There fails to convince this idea of dress-up, and prefer to enjoy the Carnival sitting at a table in front of some of the most typical gastronomic products. Shoulder of pork with turnip cream, pancakes and ears make up the bulk of the Carnival feast, which added to the rest of traditional Galician dishes, the kitchen make protagonist and a bait irresistible to the hungry and demanding.
Padron brings a bit of the best of these traditions and with them gives shape to its own Carnival, a Carnival with its own personality and a unique atmosphere, whose epicenter is the famous "Piñata´s Saturday". This year the designated day is February 13, where from 5 pm, costumes will flood this beautiful city giving it a touch of color during the parade that will conclude with the costume contest. You can participate individually, in pairs, or group, and the winners of each category will receive a prize money... last year were € 3,000 in prizes!

-Empanadas varied corn shrimp to the steam-pork with turnip tops or veal grilled with garnish of vegetables stew. -Dessert: Pancakes stuffed with and ears. -Winery: Albariño "Pazo Arretén"mencia"D ́eli". Rioja "Urbión Cuvée" waters, soft drinks. Coffee. Queimada. Open bar.
-King crab / beef / shrimp to the steam-pork with turnip tops or beef roast vegetables stew garnished with. -Dessert: Pancakes stuffed and ears-wine: Albariño "Pazo Arretén"mencia"D ́ eli". Rioja "Urbión Cuvée" waters, soft drinks. Coffee. Queimada.

Open bar With the menu, we also offer special offers if you want to stay overnight (dinner lodging breakfast €70), if the party stretches too (menu of the day Sunday f or €13), or if you want to stay an additional night (€25).
